All online bookings are subjected to our Website User Agreement and the following terms and conditions. By using this service, you are bound by these terms and conditions and notices. Please note that throughout this document, the terms “we”, “us”, “ours” refers to TheTravelBook.com.
1. Formation of Contract
1.2. The Traveller Global (PVT) Ltd. Does not guarantee nor represent the completeness or accuracy of any information located within the booking facility. The data within the booking facility is subject to change without notice.
2. Limitations on Use
2.1. This website may not be used for any prohibited or unlawful purposes. The online booking facility at TheTravelBook.com may not be used to make any fraudulent, speculative, unauthorized reservations.
2.2. The users may not :
a. Use TheTravelBook.com online booking facility for any activity that interferes with its availability for other users or any action that breaches the law.
3. Use of the TheTravelBook.com online booking facility
3.1. The purpose of www.TheTravelBook.com is solely to assist its users in determining the availability of the provided services and to make legitimate reservations or purchases.
Abuse of the booking facility is strictly prohibited and may result in, amongst other measures, the user being denied access to it.
3.2 .The users will comply with the applicable terms and conditions of reservation and purchase of goods and services offered by the website. Compliance with the applicable terms and conditions, including payment, and all rules and restrictions with regards to the availability of products, services and fares shall be abided by the users. The responsibility for all charges, duties, fees, assessments, and taxes incurred when using the booking facility will be the sole responsibility of the user of the online booking facility.
4. Booking rules
4.1. Tickets booked through TheTravelBook.com online booking facility for infants (under 2 years at the time of first travel date) and/or children (below 12 years at the time of first travel date) required to travel with an accompanying adult under one reservation.
4.2. In the case an infant turns a child during the travel, make sure that the booking be made for a child ticket for the return travel. Tickets can be reissued, but extra charges will be put in place.
4.3. Reservations are subjected to availability of seats and applicable fare conditions.
4.4. An Electronic Ticket will be issued for bookings made on thetravelbook.com. The customer must make sure that the email address is valid and free of any error.
4.5. Payments must be made at the time of the reservation. Fares and taxes will be quoted and charged in the currency displayed in the fare quote.
4.6. If both native and equivalent USD amount are displayed in the transaction, then such transactions will be charged in USD.
4.7. Virtual cards and e-cards will not be accepted.
4.8. Hotel Beds system only allows individual bookings. The client is only permitted to book per stay for an individual booking.
4.9. Should the client book 6 rooms or more per stay, either in one or several individual bookings, then this will be considered as a Group Booking. These types of bookings will be subjected to confirmation by the hotel and may result in modification and cancellation by the hotel. These terms are under the discretion of the hotel.
4.10. In some countries, the legal adult age may differ depending on the local legislation, therefore it is the sole responsibility of the customer to make sure that he/she is at a legal age to check in to the accommodation establishment.
4.11. Booking requests for transfers must be made at least 48 hours before transfer time. Communication of the confirmation of the booking shall be made via the XML integration of TheTravelBook.com.

5. Modifications (Date changes, name changes etc)
5.1. Date changes will be subject to fare conditions, applicable procedures, local fees, fare differences, processing charges (if applicable).
5.2. If any date change situation arises, then the changes cannot be made online. The consumer will have to write to The Travel Book. 48 hours prior to day of check in or departure.
5.3. For the flight option, when changing an itinerary, cancel and rebook the flight prior to 5 hours before the departure time.
5.4. Name changes are not possible once tickets are issued for flight, so please make sure that you enter your name as per the passport.
5.5. The destination and the pickup address on the voucher are the addresses where the passenger will be delivered and picked up. Any modification to a booking requested by the end consumer will be subjected to an administration charge as well as any change in the rate to be charged if the collection point is more than two kilometers from the booked collection point.
5.6. The Travel Book also reserves the right not to provide the service, if the service is very different from the original travel service booked.
5.7. Modifications made less than 48 hours prior to the time of travel will be subjected to confirmation.
6. No show
6.1. Passengers who do not cancel and rebook their flights before 5 hours prior to the flight’s departure are considered as No Show. Please note that in this case, the subsequent sectors of the booking too will get cancelled.
6.2. In such cases, higher of cancellation fee or no show fee along with any fare differences will be charged if the passengers wish to change their itineraries.
6.3. No show at the accommodation establishment without a prior warning will be considered as a cancellation.
6.4. No reimbursement to the consumer will be made in the event of a no show without prior consultation with and express authorization from The Travel Cart, who shall inform the Client of charges payable which may vary from cost of one night to 100% of the amount.
6.5. Information for the booking of the transfer service is provided by the CLIENT.
7. Refunds and cancellations
7.1. Restricted tickets which do not have a refund value and promotional fares will not be refunded by the Airline. In the case of cancellations and refunds, fare conditions and applicable refund fees will apply.
7.2. If the refund is requested within 5 hours of departure, higher of No Show penalty or Refund Penalty will apply.
7.3. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all the documents required by the local immigration authorities at your transit and destination. The Airline will not take any responsibility for the consequences faced by you as a result of you not being in possession of the required visa/documents.
7.4. In case of change of itinerary within 5 hours of departure, the higher of cancelation fee or the no show fee + the applicable fare difference will apply.
7.5. Name changes are not possible once issued. Please make sure that you enter your name as per the passport to avoid inconveniences.
7.6. When refunding a partially utilized ticket, we will be charging you the one-way fare of the used segment, the used taxes and the respective refund penalty.
7.7. Generally, cancellations that are made at least 48 hours before the consumer arrival shall not generate charges. At the time of the confirmation the cancellation charges and the reservation which may ensue will vary according to the destination, accommodation and the dates.
7.8. Cancellations cannot be made online. Therefore, the client will have to write to The Travel Book 48 hours prior to the date of check in or departure.
7.9. For no-shows or early check-outs, the accommodation establishment may charge the full amount of the original booking, in which case reimbursement to the consumer shall not apply. Other Travel services will have different booking/cancellation policies which the CLIENT will be informed of by the relevant destinations (for offline bookings) or when the CLIET confirms their bookings (for online bookings)
7.10 In the case of a transfer, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior the time of travel. The Travel Book will refund the money subjected to the cancellation policy.
7.11 No reimbursement to the consumer shall be made in the event of cancellation less than 48 hours before the time of travel.
8. Travel requirements
8.1. Obtaining visa for travel remains the responsibility of the passenger. A valid passport is required for the duration of the trip and the expiry date of the passport must be in accordance with the countries the passenger will be travelling to. For more information on passport and visa information, please contact the embassy of the country of expected travel.
9. Taxes, fees, charges
9.1. The price of the ticket may include taxes and fees which are imposed by government authorities and airports and may also include charges (including surcharges) on air transportation which are imposed by the carrier. These taxes, fees, surcharges which may represent a significant portion of the cost of air travel, are either included in the fare, or shown separately in the ‘TAX/FEE/carrier imposed SURCHARGE’ boxes of the ticket.
9.2. Some airports levy airport departure taxes and passenger service charges which are payable by passengers at the airport locally. The information on these charges are not given in our quoted fares. Fares may not include all airport and passenger taxes which must be paid by each passenger. Such information may be quoted with the fare, and included in the total due.
10. No Representation
10.1. TheTravelBook.com does not guarantee that the usage will be error-free, uninterrupted or that any data, content software or any other material available on
10.2. TheTravelBook.com will be free of viruses, bugs, Trojan horses or any other harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 The Travel Book will not be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage including those based on negligence, including special damages or lost profits to the maximum extent permitted by law, that are connected with the following items :
a. Use of TheTravelBook.com
b. Material contained in the TheTravelBook.com booking facility including data involved in checking prices, ticketing or any other use
c. Failures or delays connected to or rising out of the unavailability of TheTravelBook.com facility due to technical difficulties or any other circumstance
d. Submission of any business or personal information including but not limited to credit card and bank details
e. Breach of security or unauthorized access into the TheTravelBook.com online booking facility through the global computer network.
f. Failure of any service, function, performance or non-performance connected to TheTravelBook.com online booking facility.
g. Any bookings made through TheTravelBook.com booking facility that are incomplete, delayed, in error or has not registered.
In the case that The Travel Book is found liable for any loss or damage associated with the use of TheTravelBook.com online booking facility, the liability shall not exceed any service charge or subscription fee connected to accessing TheTravelBook.com
11.2. The Travel Book shall use reasonable endeavor to ensure that vehicles arrive on time to begin the period of hire and that they reach their destinations on time. Vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims, as required under the local laws.
11.3. If The Travel Book were to fail for any reason within its control to deliver its passengers to the required destination, The Travel Book will provide suitable transport such as another coach, private car, taxi etc. Any reimbursement made by The Travel Book for the costs of the alternative means of transport incurred by the passenger to reach their ticketed destination shall be no more than the cost of reaching that destination by taxi.
11.4. The Travel Book shall not have any liability for any delay or failure to carry the passengers or for breach of contract when caused by a circumstance beyond The Travel Books reasonable control.

12. Ticket conditions, conditions of contract and other notices
12.1. All reservations made on TheTravelBook.com are subject to follow the Airlines’ Conditions of Contract, General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage, and other Important Notices, all of which are available on the Airlines websites.
12.2. TheTravelBook.com are also subjected to follow the terms and conditions of HotelBeds.
Immunization may be recommended or required for your destination or stop over points.
Purchase of travel insurance is highly recommended to cover loss in the case that the passenger’s ticket or baggage is lost or damaged. This is applicable especially when purchasing tickets with restrictions.
15. Information Security
We will take all reasonable measures to ensure that information our passengers transmit to TheTravelBook.com online booking facility will remain confidential and protected from unauthorized access. However, we will not be liable for unauthorized access to that information.
16. Personal Information
When using TheTravelBook.com online booking facility, the users will be required to provide certain information such as name, contact details etc. If the user fails to provide this information or provide it incorrectly, The Travel Book. will not be responsible to the user for The Travel Books inability to fulfill its agreement to the user including processing reservations or contacting the user if there is a problem.
17.1. The voucher will show all the information necessary to reach the boarding point. The voucher will also show a contact telephone number for checking the booking and informing about contingencies.
18.1. The Travel Book must be informed of items such as, but not limited to sports equipment (golf clubs, skis windsurf boards etc.) and electronic wheelchairs. Any voluminous items will be subjected to an additional charge, except for their voluminous items needed by their owners for personal disabilities such as electrical wheelchairs.
18.2. Extra charges may be made at The Travel Book’s absolute discretion and depending on the transfer supplier and the destination. Such extra charges must be paid before departure, otherwise The Travel Book may refuse transport of the aforementioned items
